Mission Statement
The Pennsylvania Pink Zone and Penn State Lady Lion Basketball are a unified force in the fight against breast cancer on the court, across campus, and within communities. The Pennsylvania Pink Zone promotes cancer awareness and empowers survivors through year-round efforts to raise funds critical in supporting vital breast cancer organizations, charities, and facilities that focus on breast cancer education, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
Pink Out Live Auction
As one of the six beneficiaries, Lewistown Hospital
and its Wellness 4
Women Group (W4W) are committed
to supporting and raising funds for the
Pennsylvania
Pink Zone. The first fundraiser will be a “Pink Out” live
auction and themed basket raffle on Friday,
September 28, 2012. The event will take place, rain or
shine, in the new visitor parking lot
across from the
Surgical Center at the Hospital. Beginning at 3:00 pm,
there will be food stands, tickets sales for themed basket
raffle, and
an opportunity to view the auction items. The live auction will begin at
5:00 pm. Auctioneer Services are courtesy of Tammy A. Miller who is
also an international speaker, author, speech coach as well as a breast
cancer survivor.
